UPCOMING NEW BOOK RELEASE: Consistently Inconsistent - The Disappointing 2019 Boston Red Sox Season as Told Through a Fan's Diary

I'm proud to announce the upcoming release of my new book Consistently Inconsistent - The Disappointing 2019 Boston Red Sox Season as Told Through a Fan's Diary, due for release in early November. This will be my fourth book and second on baseball, following on the heels of my 2018 book A Win For Every Stitch. That book has proven to be remarkably popular for an independently published book on baseball and the response I've gotten over the last year has been 100% positive. Of course, that was a joyous book celebrating one of the greatest seasons for not only the Red Sox, but for any sports team, ever. It was a magical season and I was fortunate to have chosen that season to keep a diary of.

Consistently Inconsistent is a bit different, though. Because the Red Sox were so dominant in 2018 and were bringing back the same team almost wholly intact in 2019, I decided to keep a diary of the season again with the expectation that they had a very good chance to repeat as champions (or at the very least, that they'd make a good run at doing so). As we all now know, that didn't happen and 2019 turned out to be one of the most frustrating and disappointing Red Sox seasons in recent memory. I struggled with whether or not to finish and release this book because I thought "who is going to want to read about that mess again?" After mulling it over, I decided to release it because I think it will be interesting for truly committed Red Sox fans (and fans who can look at things objectively) to read about the season in its entirety with some distance and perspective. It's not necessarily a fun or pleasant book to read, but it's honest and I think that's worth something.

Consistently Inconsistent will be available in paperback from Amazon in early November for $14.99 with a Kindle ebook version to follow.
